  1. dead beat dads should be shot

  2. that's why i am pro choice

  3. correct. But always remember from the date its filed to the date you start receiving payment you will get it all back payed. Keep your head up.

  4. No, it will mean that he will owe you back child support. What I would do is to get a Private d**k that will track him down, jump fences and chase his ugly *** down to serve him. If you have any questions, just go to child services in the Family Courts or call them and they will help you out.

  5. You can always get him through Social Security.

  6. If you mean by "get child support" actually getting MONEY in your hand...YES.  If you mean by "getting child support" to get a court order, run up lots of attorney fees, accumulate overdue child support, the the answer is no.  Pay an attorney enough money and he will get you all kinds of judgements which you can paper the walls with because unless they can find him and put papers in his hand and know how to collect (garnish wages for example) they cannot put any MONEY in your bank account.  Only paper in your mailbox.

Bad news, once you find him he will just go into hiding again.  Move, change jobs, have prepaid cell phones, live on a cash basis, pay bills by money order, all sorts of ways to hide in plain sight.  Clearly he does not want to support the child he helped make.

Good news:  Once you serve him court orders, if he refuses to pay he can be jailed for contempt of court.

Reality news...you made a child without being married, with a deadbeat.  Of course he should be made to support his child, but in the event he does not, you had best be prepared to meet the obligations you agreed to...having a child!

  7. child support enforcement agency should be able to help you. as long as they have his ss#, dob, address, etc. they should be able to find him. it will take time though.

  8. Go to Social Services and file an application for welfare and food stamps....tell them that he is evading being served and they will hunt him down for you. I know that's something you may not want to do, but let them do the chasing!

They will pay you what you need, and go after him for it. The next time he gets a job they will garnish him, and the next time he files a tax return, they will keep it!!

    Good luck!

  9. I think so because if they can't find he to pay how are they supposed to get the money. But I'm sure they will find him sooner or later........I hope things work out. cheesey but....Keep Your Head Up!

  10. not until they find him

  11. Ask your lawyer about having your ex's Federal Income Tax withheld.

    Or have his wages garnished.

Ask your lawyer if his parents can be held liable, then their son will have to settle it with them.

  12. No this just means it will proceed without him and he will never have any sayso in the matter from then on. The only problem being is once the Judge rules in your favor and its monetary support or whatever its going to be hard finding him to serve the judgement so you may have to wait to collect
