  1. Don't worry about it......it doesn't have to "stand up or out"!  If he was sweating ALOT during class it would go "limp" eventually anyway.

  2. Ahh.. the limp taikwondo belt debacle.

There is no saving it. It has already departed to that laundry basket in the sky - never to return to the world of the stiff and defiant. Curses to negligent x's everywhere.

    Ladies and gentlemen.

If you would, please observe a moment of silence for this man, his son and their limp taikwondo belt.

  3. If it can't you can buy another at any martial arts supplies store.

  4. I don't really know what you are asking about. If you look at lots of pictures you will see that all belts are "limp"...

Only new belts and ones that are way too short stick out.

Just a note for the future...you do not need to wash belts. (Well, if your son spilled grape juice or something on it, yeah, you could wash it..haha)

  5. take it to the dry cleaners and get some starch in it!

  6. I'm not really sure what you mean by "limp". As you wear your belt, it should naturally be broken in. It's not meant to be completely rigid as far as I know. You may try sun-drying, as this will take excess moisture out of the belt. Typically, belts have foam on the inside, which may be having trouble drying out. Hang it outside for around 3-4 hours on a sunny day, but watch it carefully for sun bleaching. If you start to see it fading, bring it inside. It is also a good idea to do this on a day with fairly low humidity. You may also try placing it near a radiator, but this may be impractical depending upon your location.

  7. It's ok how it is, as long as it's the right color.  They all go limp eventually and that just means it's broken in.
