Okay i was playing call of duty 4 and it made some loud noise but i was like who cares xbox's are loud anyways. So like two days later i look at the disc and it's scratched like it has a perfect circle in the inner part of the disc. Should i call xbox to replace it because i'm still under warranty or should i just keep it. thanks i know it's not normal but will microsoft pay for my scratched game or what?

  2. what happend was that u either moved the 360 to another position. the 360 lens for some reason then moves onto the disc and makes a scratch...microsoft will not pay for the game or anything cuz they tell u in the manual not to move it or to becareful cuz the lens will scratch it

  3. If it's a light circle around the inner area of the disc that's probably normal, but if it's a heavier scratch around the outer area then that may be a problem for you. Did you move your Xbox 360 while you were in game? If you did the laser which reads the disc might of hit an important part of the game disc. Check if it's playable and if it isn't try exchanging it where you brought it if you still have the 30/90 day warranty. If it's past the warranty date then Microsoft probably won't repair it for you. They have a list of games they can repair if they're scratched at xbox.com.

  4. Ummm... it appears you got the ring of death. Xboxs only do that if you are running a disc and something caused it to scratch it. Were you moving it? Was anything near it that hit it? Sometimes it does just happen. Its not your xbox. If this problem is too continue for every game you place in it I think you should call. But I would just buy a used COD 4 game, or get a new one if your under a warranty.
