My xbox 360 was a display and it doesn't play past a cirtin part of a game what do i do?

Take it back and ask for a replacement of that xbox because they gave you a crappy one.

try cleaning the disc. if that doesnt work then i guess youll have to get a new copy. unless its a cutscene, because if it was a cutscene you can skip it and watch it on the internet, like in youtube or something.
