My xbox is F$#KIN retarded?

ok, when i put a game in my xbox its as though there is no discs in the xbox... but when i put a cd, or a dvd inside of it they play... and its not the game since i tried it with numerous games and none of them worked and to make sure they weren't all just screwed up i drove over to a buddies house and they played just fine. wtf is going on?
