My xbox won't play any games. ?

My Xbox (2001 version) won't play any games. I'm trying to fix it so I can get Xbox Live for Halo 2 but It says My xbox can't reconize this disk. It happens with all of the disks.Even music CD's.

I deleted most of the data on the drive but it still won't play anything.

What's my next move?

Sorry to say it bud, but it sounds like its broken. You could maybe call an expert on Xbox and see what they have to say.

It's most likely that your Xbox drive to read disks is damaged. Unfortunetly, there isn't any way to fix this by buying anything at the store. However, you can always send it back to Microsoft and they will gladly fix it. It'll probably cost you money but of what I know, you can't do anything to fix it on your own.
