My yahoo 360 total page views got deleted!! from 500.000 to 847 please help me!?

Hello my 360 pages total page counter was 500.000+ and now suddenly after some big traffic i had on my page the views were increasing and after some time like it started from the beginning it went to 847 =/ please tell me how i can fix this and if its fixable or how i can make my 360 go up to that number again thank you very much for your time.

This is a long-time 360 issue. The counter/pageviews feature is notoriously unreliable. The best thing is to ignore that feature. You can't reset or modify it yourself.

You can try the following and that's about it:

1) Clear your browser's cookies and cache. Before clearing cookies, make sure you know your passwords to sites.

CACHE:

For Internet Explorer see http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/...

For Firefox, click the "Clear Cache Now" button under Tools > Options > Privacy > Cache.

COOKIES:

In Firefox, do this under Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies > Clear Cookies Now

In IE, do this under Tools > Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Delete > Delete Cookies > Yes

Then, restart your computer.

2) Some users insert maps into every few blog entries (http://www.statcounter.com ). Be aware that it may be an error-prone solution and it won't give you names - maybe just aggregate or IP address information.

You will have to contact Yahoo about this one.. it is beyond our control to mess with that counter.
