My yahoo account still shows i'm 16 yrs old, but I am now 19! How to fix this?

I just noticed a little while back that my yahoo account still shows I am 16 years old, but I am now 19. Because of this I can not get into chat rooms at all...And I think it may have something to do with me not being able to use my webcam on this account anymore. Please help me, this is, and always has been my main account...

   First, to change the age shown on your profile. Open your own profile, across the top of it you should see links. Click the one which says "Edit Profile Info" then edit your age and Save the changes.

   Second, I wouldn't be entirely sure that age is the reason you can't get into chat unless you are getting a message window explicitly stating that fact. If you are, then you're out of luck. Changing the age on your profile will do nothing. Yahoo! uses the birth date you provided when creating the account to determine your age and therefore your eligibility to view adult themed areas of Yahoo!. Since your birth date does not change, Yahoo! provides no option to change this setting or to even view it. It's also a security precaution to make it easier to recover stolen accounts.
