  1. are you talking membership open or archives?

    membership

    management- under group setting click membership- Membership Type and Welcome Message (Edit) <-- click the edit- top page select restricted- click save changes

    archives

    management- under group setting click messages- Posting and Archives (Edit) <-- click the edit- scroll to Archive Options, check members- click save changes
