My yahoo home page has changed on it's own and I can't get my customized page back,also many features are not

the color change option disabled(whitebk. grd.),other features inoperable.WHERE IT SHOULD SAY MY YAHOO BELOW TASK BAR IT HAS MAIL.

Sounds like you may have just experienced the forced move to the new My Yahoo.  If that's the problem, you may have to "rebuild" you homepage with the new modules and architecture.  I share your frustration with this change.
