My yahoo page sez: "Yahoo Canada." I am in CA. Should yahoo home page say United States?

At the top of my Yahoo home page it reads: YAHOO CANADA. However, I live in California. Should the top of the page read: YAHOO U.S? If so, how do I change it?

Yes, it should say US. At the bottom of your page there are a lot of different countries. Click on United States.

At this point shouldn't it say Yahoo Mexico?

Of course. Canada is the 51st state.
