My yahoo search goes to google, why?

Why does a yahoo search automatically bring up the google page? I hate google, and never downloaded it, yet I get redirected there every time I do a yahoo search. I have tried all the suggestions here so far to no avail. Somebody please help.

When you click internet options, there is a box next to make internet explorer my defaul search page, check it. Also, go to program access and defaults on the start menu, choose custom drop down menu and fix it there as well. Someone may have hijacked your browser, in which case what you do won't work. do a search on recovering your browser if its been hijacked.
