Don't recall if I was getting new version of Yahoo Toolbar (for Firefox) or Firefox 3.0.1 that caused it. I have since reinstalled both but still no button. The "Add/Edit Buttons" feature doesn't work i.e. bookmarks is checked but not showing up. Instead I have an Olympics button that won't go away and is not checked. Same with Games & News buttons. Bookmarks is not hidden out on the right end either. All I can find on the web is about the Firefox Bookmarks which I don't use. All my stuff is on the toolbar. Button does show up on the I.E. Yahoo toolbar which I don't usually use but may have to in future. All I know is that the latest Y-Toolbar and Firefox 3.0.1 are incompatible. I'm ready to dump the toolbar and use the FF Bookmarks which are interchangeable with IE Favorites and don't get lost.

  1. You might try the following:

Under Firefox click Tools, click Options, click Privacy tab (at top) and then under Cookies make sure that you check both boxes for cookies and check keep until expired and click OK.  Restart Firefox.  Sign on to Yahoo! and check the box to stay signed on for 2 weeks.  If your personalized buttons (including bookmarks) still don't show then click the Pencil icon and click Refresh Toolbar.  Good luck.
