  1. Hmmm... Well, first off, turn the sprinklers back on. ;) Meanwhile, you might apply an organic, non-burning fertilizer, like a product named Milorganite. It's about 4% iron and works great for greening up a lawn. It is, however, a product produced from processed waste from Kenosha Wisconsin (or maybe Milwaukie). But whatever you do, do not apply a "weed & feed" product, since the grass is under extreme stress and will be extra sensitive.

  2. water will get some color back. do not fertilize with a fertilizer that has a high nitrogen rate without your water. reduce as much stress as possible. raise your mowing height is the best way to reduce stress. and gradually start working your height back down as the color starts to come back. fertilizer is always good in these situations. get a complete fertilizer to get all your nutrients going strong again. nitrogen will give you a quick green up but increases leaf growth which in turn means more mowing for you. try to buy a fertilizer with some iron (Fe) in it for a quick green up without the excessive leaf growth. with a little water and some time your grass (bermuda, zoysia, st. augustine, centipede, or other warm season c4 grasses) should come back!

  3. well, try Grass Seed in places at look most dead. then i would run the sprinkler (moving it in different parts of the yard) for a couple of hours every other day (unless Rain comes)

  4. green spray paint

  5. Go to a home improvement store and ask them for stuff you can put on the lawn to put nutrients back in then only water at night when its the coolest and in the morning never during the day because you will burn the grass further!
