  1. She needs to go to the vet, it could be ear infection, or any type infection that invades the body can cause the dog to be dizzy from fever and the spread of the infection...

only your vet will be able to tell you, there is so much that can cause this problem.

please take her to the vet, hope she will be feeling better real soon

  2. You need to get off the computer and take her to the emergency vet.  She could have an infection or something serious.  If your child couldn't hold itself up would you be asking on YA?

  3. The others are right, get her to a vet NOW!  She could also have encephalitis and immediate treatment can make all the difference.

  4. Does NOT sound good.  I'm guessing you purchased her from a pet store or backyard breeder?  In any event, if she is having neuromuscular problems, you need to get her to the vet ASAP and do a series of tests to determine what's wrong.  Your pup could have myasthenia gravis (check out this:  http://www.vetspecialists.co.uk/06_Anima... or something of the type. Really, there's no way of guessing what the cause could be, so get her in right away.

If you did purchase your puppy from a good, responsible breeder, inform them right away of your pup's condition and explain you're taking her in for tests.  They will want to know if there are genetic problems in the parents, so they can spay and neuter them and check on the rest of the litter.

Best of luck to you and your puppy!

  5. You don't mention how old the dog is or where you got her from. In a young dog seizures come to mind, inner ear issues...? In older dogs vestibular disease and inner ear infections could cause this. Also, if this is a puppy, the could be issues with their metabolism, or blood sugar. I would say a visit to the vet is called for no matter what

  6. My yorkie did this a few weeks after I bought him.  He had coccidia.  He was so weak and would fall when he tried to walk.  If I had waited another day, the doc said he probably wouldn't have made it.  Coccidia comes from unsanitary conditions....a parasite in p**p.  The breeder's place looked clean but I was probably fooled.  Good luck!

  7. your dog needs to see a vet immediately. there are several possible causes for this and without treatment it will only get worse.

  8. Dogs can get vertigo for different reasons at different ages, take her to the vet.The reasons I've seen dogs get vertigo inner ear infections and my first heart dog had a stroke 16y/o which resulted in vertigo.

  9. Take her to the vet immediatly; and, do not be less than honest about it having fallen, jumped or been dropped.
