My yugioh spell cards say spell card and some say magic card, which is real?

Both are its just that MAgic the gathering almost sued yugioh because they used magic, so yugioh quickly changed to spell.

They are the same thing for some reason they just decided to change them it has nothing to do with MTG they changed the Kanji for them in japan (Basically j*p words) and when translated it turned spell instead of magic they said something like "Spell" being more fitting than "magic" no real reason was given.

they both are real they just changed the name from magic to spell over some dumb mess with magic the gathering

both are the same. it was "magic card" at first but at some point changed to "spell card"
