My zen player shut itself off and it wont turn on?

i just got it friday. i was looking at all of the functions and decided to test the alarm. so i set it for 9:41. at 9:40, i took out the headphones, the zen said that it was shutting down, it did, and now it wont turn back on. what is wrong with it and is there any way to fix it?

Have you tried to reset it?  There is a pin-hole sized reset button on this side under the on-off switch. Try to reset and see if that works.
