My zoloft medication has stopped working......?

i seriously want to die. i have tears in my eyes. what should i do

  1. you need to go back to ur doctor chances are that u need to go up in ur dosage an it wont take too long before u feel like your back to your normal self


  2. Had a similar post to this one. Mine did the same thing, my doctor told me to double the dose because i kept it a low dose since it seemed to be working. I feel the same exact way and remember your not alone, alot of people suffer from depression and its not your fault. Good luck, see your doctor and let them know whats going on.  

  3. Temporarily lower the dose and then bring it back up again until you see a doctor so you can cope in the mean time.

    See a doctor and see if they can get you on a different medication.


  4. first off...i went through something very similiar.  I promise you it'll get better...

    your body could've adapted itself to the medicine.  Seek help from your doctor and they can help.

  5. The dose may need adjusting. With time the liver learns to metabolise it more effectively. If it was working before that may be all that is needed.  Also, the same medication doesn't work for everyone, so you may need a change. A team work approach between you and your doctor and regular follow up is needed.
