My zune froze what do i do??

ok so the other day my zune froze on me... i tried resetting it but it doesn't do anything it just sits there on the black unlit and when i connect it to my computer it the screen light up and shows that it needs to be charged but is not charging i also tired to see if it came up on my zune software to see if it comes up so i can reset it but still does not work..... what do i do??

please help me!!!
