My zune won't show up on my computer, but it does on my brothers?

i have a 4gb zune and everytime i connect it to my computer it starts to charge but it doesn't show up connected. but a box pops up and says your zune is not up to date. click ok to update it. so i click ok but it doesn't work. i try it on my brothers computer and works fine

also some of my music on my zune doesn't show up in my collection

help please!!

Is it connected by a cable? If so, you may need to replace the cable. I'd also try blowing on any place that connects to the cable or computer. Other than that, I'd say check the zune website and see if there's a location that could fix it.
