My zune wont turn on or charge!!

I'm freaking out! And my zune is not on the hold button. It won't even reset or anything! It's not on sleep mode because pressing buttons won't turn it on. My computer doesn't even recognize it and I have no idea what's wrong with it. This happened twice. Any ideas?

First of all, to Nicole. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. It took zune two weeks after launch to become the #2 best selling Mp3 player on the market. Its not a coincidence, Zune has more features, better software, and before the Ipod Touch, it had a bigger clearer screen.

Now on to your question. Mine has done this before...What it needs is a reset. Try a soft reset first. Make sure the Hold button is off. Then Press AND Hold the Back button and up button at the same time for approx. 7 sec.  

If that doesnt work you need to do a Hard Reset. A hard reset will erase all data off the zune, so you will need to resync it.

To do a hard reset: hold back button and the up button at the same time, when it starts to reset change button hold to: back button, ok button, and right button at the same time. It will then inform you that it is deleting all media on device. Note that the transition of button holds has to be precise otherwise it will just do a soft reset.

Contact Microsoft's tech support; if it's under warranty, they can repair or replace it.  But since the users of Y!A did not make the Zune, we're probably not the best people to tell you how to fix it.
