MySims on the wii. i have to have x crayon and x rose essences. where do i find the roses?

so if anyone has played the MySims on the wii, they know that once they have reached Town Star lvl 2, that you gain more characters. and there's the salon character, and you have to make furniture for her to start making clothes, hair, etc. she asks for an x amount of purple crayon essences, and x amount of rose. i've prospected for roses in the forest like she says, and all i got was cake, bacon, and gingerbread essences. so, where the f*ck are these rose essences? if i can't find them i'm probably going to get rid of the game. -dollieG.

the roses grow on trees. Search the forest for rose trees.
