Question:

MySpace Link Spam Control?

Do you really think MySpace should really have a program that filters links? Even so if my prevent you from sharing your MS id, I think it is a real inconvenience that they do do so. Many websites I go to are harmless along with the links they provide. But many times, the MySpace filter deletes links that I need to go to. And for sharing my ID and password, I am smart enough to see a fake website. Plus MySpace should place notifactions on their home page and other places that clearly says "not to share your ID with any website" besides MySpace.

Anybody Agree?

  1. they let you disable the phishing warning page... there's a little checkbox in the bottom left of the warning page - but obviously that only affects YOU, not people clicking on your links

myspace is not the best place to promote things anymore - why? because of all the spammers who are abusing it to get rich - myspace does sue them, but another one pops up - it's endless, so the msplinks filter is the only practical solution

yes, it is quite unfortunate that everyone on the planet has to be limited because of a few spammers, but there is no other solution to the problem, and myspace knows this

  2. I honestly know what you mean but they only do it for little kids, who are pretending to be older than 14. I have a friend who is 11 but his myspace age is, like, 45....that is probably why they do it...but I, myself, think it is soo pointless!
