MyTwinn doll owners?

I think that they look really cool on the website, but I'm really not sure if they are worth the money. Are they?

I had never heard of this before, but got curious from your post and checked them out. They look really neat! Im not sure any doll is worth $139 though, not unless you have money to burn. Good luck with your decision. ;)

Well, they are only that high in price if you are designing the doll yourself to look like a specific person. You can get one much cheaper if you buy a "friend" doll (especially during one of the MyTwinn online sales...subscribe to their newsletter to get email notices of sales) or shop on ebay. They are high quality dolls and have the unique feature of the armature inside that make them very very posable. I was lucky enough to get mine at a garage sale for $10, but I have friends that collect dolls that really love the quality of the My Twinn line and seem to buy a new one every time they have a sale. I do know that they have changed their production area and the newer ones are not quite as excellent as the older ones (so I have been told), but they are still VERY nice and seem to hold their value much better than other modern dolls. If getting one that looks like a specific person, it adds to how special they are. My vote in the end? Yes, they are worth the extra cost, but I would still browse Ebay or watch for a good sale for one.
