some elements fonts are too small. There's too much white space. The 'Change Appearance" and 'Other Options" are too simplistic. How can I reduce the size of the three columns on My Yahoo page?? Thanks

  1. zoom out or use internet explorer 7

  2. I found by going to "Change Appearance", then "Searchbox Size" and changing it from "Large" to "Small" solved the problem for me; everything fits on the screen now. Apparently "Large" is the default.

  3. I solved the problem using several options.

    1. Make sure your resolution is 1024 x 768 or   higher.

    2. Switch to two columns.

    3. Choose a new "theme."  If you continue to use an old theme there is far too much white space and no boxes in the modules.  Once you switch the appearance is greatly improved.

Edited to add...  Yes, the old themes become no longer available once you switch to a new one but you also don't get the boxes in the modules and other things if you don't switch to a new theme.  Using two columns becomes the only option, depending on your browser and resolution.
