Mydigital camera only takes videos in mov. format and i would like to change that so i can upload them...?

i would like to change the format of my videos my digital camera gives since i would like to put them up on youtube or does youtube accpt mov. format videos?? if not what would be a nice program to get that would work.

Youtube accepts .mov, that is the format used by Quicktime.
