Mygallons.com - you can try but....?

Question

I was also curious about Mygallons.com where you can basically pre-purchase gallons of gas. I really wanted it for my Labor Day trip so I signed up hoping to get the card before then.

After signing up a few weeks ago, I got an e-mail saying they were going to refund my membership since they are having trouble getting a financial backer for the program. The website is still up and running, but if you're thinking of trying it, just wait I guess.

sounds like a shaky deal, i hope you didn't send them money or give a credit card number. If you did, i'd watch that card very closely and kiss any money you sent them goodbye. Hope i'm wrong and good luck.
