  1. Pulling hair is a way to show dominance. It is normal and perfectly natural.

Have you introduced them properly, or just put them together. You should never just put a new animal in the same cage with an older one. The correct way to go about an introduction is over the course of at least 1 week, let them live in separate cages, but take them out to meet each other on neutral surfaces. Like take them both into a dry bathtub, and watch closely to see how they interact. At fist they will squabble, but this is normal, eventually they will get used to each other. Take them out for only a couple minutes each day, and slowly increase the time they spend together.

After a week of doing this, they should be ready to be placed in the same cage. Scrub the cage as clean as you can, and only then put them together. Of course they will be scared or excited, but they will get used to each other over time.
