Myhusband has been given a silver coin, anyone help with what it is?

the coin is hallmarked cws 925 lion symbol and the letter c.

The coin has four triangles on it saying SI YES OUI and JA

on both sides. My husband reckons it is a referee coin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as to what it is

  1. I won't be able to give you the answer you want and you may never get one. .925 is Sterling silver. The words on it all mean the same "yes". Yes is in Spanish, English, French and German. If it says the same thing on both sides a referee coin it is not. It is not a coin anyway, but a medal or token, it does not fit the definition of a coin. The name for the item you have is "maverick token" that means there is little on it to actually tell you where it was made, why it was made or who made it. The lion privy mark is used by many private mints as well as European mints. Good luck in your quest, this is the best I can do for now.
