Myrtle Beach Weather???

Question

I've noticed that the forecast for most days include at least the risk of a thunder shower. I was wondering if the area is prone to wet weather, or is it like Mexico or the Caribbean where the forecast a little bit of rain every day because it pretty common. We're heading there next week (rain or shine) but I was just wondering. I know nobody here can predict the weather for next week, but then again that's not what I'm asking.

we only get like 1-2 days of rain a week, but when it does rain its from like 4-10 PM so get outside like 11ish for a good tan!

the past week has been real nice except for today, but im pretty sure we should have nice weather next week. have fun in carolina!
