  1. If you want a capital city I'd say Adelaide or Brisbane.

Melbourne and Sydney are nice to visit but are too big and crazy. I wouldn't live in either.

There are some nice smaller towns though in the country like where i live Bendigo it has over 100,000 people and basically everything you need.

I don't know much about other rural towns interstate because i've not been to any.

But everyone says Perth and WA are good for work, yes thats true but they are separated from the rest of the country by a couple of days driving.. If you want to be able to travel around a bit I'd recommend anywhere on the eastern side.

  2. If your main interest/need is to find employment then you should consider Western Australia.  They have experienced rapid growth and are always looking for a range of skilled and semi-skilled workers.

  3. There would be work for you anywhere in Australia

    See this site http://www.immi.gov.au/

  4. Go to a major city, you're more likely to get stable work than in rural Australia.  Unless you are lucky.

  5. There's very high demand for plasterers in Australia and you won't have any trouble getting visas. There is a large amount of house and unit building going on in Queensland (Brisbane in particular) and Western Australia (probably Perth) at present as they are the boom states and they should both offer very good employment prospects. Brisbane is a great place with a fantastic climate (but I may be biased), but you can't go wrong in either city. Brisbane also has plenty of work in pretty well all other areas, so you shouldn't have any problems finding work either.

  6. You have the web site set out above. So all you need to know is that Australia can be a very lonely place for a woman.

Husbands are out at work many hours six or seven days a week. Children are at school or kindy and have to be taken there by mum or the bus.

Wife is left to her own devices and in the home a lot. If she works she can not get enough time to be with her children and husband due to the amount of travel between work schools and home.

If you are able to cope with that kind of living then you will have a better place to bring up your children and have a good life.

If you do come here your husband will have to be a skilled   worker. that is with papers that can be checked out by Immigration
