Myspace: I dont have "Last name required" checked but it.....?

I dont have "Last name required" checked but it still is making people put either my last name or e-mail. What going on?

now you go to edit profile, account settings, spam and uncheck the part under friend request or something where it asks for email or last name

myspace has a glitch, if u leave something for a long time (layout, setting, info, etc.) it stays like that permanently

maybe you have email required? idk.
