Myspace Laws?? Been going on someone elses myspace for a while. Please help?

Okay so , ive been going on someones myspace for quiet a while now.

I guessed their email password and just clicked forgot password on myspace. They have never changed the email password for like 4 months . She tells everyone she can get the "hacker: put in jail .

She thinks im like in her computer. Where do i stand with the law lol

logging in to someone else's profile is ILLEGAL

yes, you can get into a lot of trouble with the law if you do it

As of now you didn't break any laws seeing as how you didn't have to edit anything to break into the MySpace account. And since you didn't have to gain access to her computer it is fine(legally speaking). As long as you didn't have to edit any type of scripts or anything it isn't illegal, especially if you already knew her e-mail password it is all her fault.
