the woman is going to be indicted on some charges but I don't understand and don't agree she didn't make that girl commit suicide how about her parents for letting her have a myspace account knowing she was under age and also knowing she was being treated for ADD and depression and she is under age for a myspace account so I think they should be held responsible.

  1. The woman should be charged.  If you give a 16 year old a alcoholic a beer and he kills himself in a crash you are responsible.  The woman knew the girl and knew she was unstable.   She wanted to hurt the girl and did not care about the consequences.  That sounds like a reckless act to me.

  2. The woman (an adult and mother) is responsible is that she viciously and maliciously went on myspace to intentionally cause the girl harm.  She intended to push the girl over the edge so she should be held accountable for the results.

If all the kids that aren't old enough got off here, it may be a quiet place.  Kids go a lot of places on the internet they don't belong.

  3. this woman shouldn't have pretended to be a guy in the first place, what a @#$%^! lol because death is involved. this is very serious. plus i agree with you.. underage people shouldn't have myspace

  4. in this world, everybody wants to shift the blame on everybody but the right person.

  5. Well, it's like fraud or something, I don't know. What she did was wrong, either way. And maybe she didn't know that th girl was capable of doing so, but I think she should be held somewhat responsible.

  6. I think everybody involved should be held accountable...the girl that pretended to be a boy..and the victim's mother for not noticing how bad her daughter was mentally...I can relate to people with depression...and I was a child with depression..I remember wanting to kill myself over a break up..I was 16...People that are depressed feel very strongly..and if you are that awkward feeling...ostracized...kid that is being bullied or you feel like an outcast and you happen to be depressed...life can be h**l...Some people have bad days...Everyday is a bad day for someone depressed....What if this girl thought that she wasn't pretty and none of the boys at school liked her..and she cried every night because the boys called her ugly and nobody ever took interest to her..Then one day someone does...and she has something to smile about for the first time ever...Then that boy turns out to be someone playing a cruel trick on her...and then her mind shifts back to feeling not wanted...I think this girl couldn't deal anymore...I just feel that parents need to get more involved in their teens' lives...If a child is withdrawn..take them for help...Help them get through this by showing love to them and respecting their feelings and mood changes...and try to talk to them as much as possible...but don't come down too hard on them...because their emotions are so extreme..

  7. i heard that story and it suck

i don't see nothing wrong with teenagers having a my space its fun... the woman who did that shouldn't get into her daughter business they are kids she should just leave them and let them be kids what she did was stupid and she will have to live with that for the rest of her life

  8. I don't know what they charged her for but I don't see that the woman's intent was for the girl to commit suicide.  I think the DA is doing it to look tough for the voters.

  9. u make reasonable aruments but people are always looking for people to blame....this isnt the first case where something like this happened and other people got blamed for it and not the parents or the actual person. But i think this is a more serious issue because death is involved... :[

  10. Well i somewhat agree but since death is involved its much more serious and the girls parents needed justice and it just so happens that that girl and her mother was the reason she committed suicide. Its difficult. I really just think that parents need to keep more of an eye on their young ones these days.

  11. Well, I agree with u.  But most of the teens nowadays, are faking their ages just to be able to have an account in different websites. Maybe her parents weren't able to look after her every minute and they trust their daughter that she'll not do that kind of thing. Maybe on her side, she also didn't expect that it will go through this stage, however, it's still also her fault. Let this serve as lesson to everyone.
