Myspace music downloads?

On myspace music I know that you can listen to the entire song on some pages, and I also know that there is button where it will allow you to download some songs. My question is, is it free and legal to download songs from Myspace if on that page you are allowed download a song?

I would haft to guess if the artist puts it up for download then..yes it is free, i would say

If the artist has enabled the download button then yes, it's legal.

& yes it's free.

But just be sure that it's the original artist as well, some myspace pages are just fanpages. In that case they have to have the original artist's permission to enable the download button.
