Myspace or Cell Phone?

Question

The other day my dad made a compromise with me. If I got rid of my Myspace then he would get me a cell phone. I always fell left out not having a phone because all my friends have one. And I always use Myspace to talk to people. So he thinks that if I got rid of Myspace it would not mess up his computer anymore and i could text people via cell phone.

should i take his offer?

If anyone you know on MySpace is worth talking to, you can give them your number.

After having MySpace for a few years and having just about abandoned it, I've found that having a cell phone is much more accessible than getting on people's computers. Besides that, I only heard from people I wanted to keep in touch with, not the tens-to-thousands of acquaintances you meet there.

Of course, if you have AT&T or T-Mobile, you could have your cake & eat it, too. (Sidekicks, iPhones, and the like)

Of course.

Take the cell phone for sure.

You can always text/call people, and get responses right away.

On Myspace they have to be at home on their comp, or you have to wait for a message to return.

  My mom did the exact same thing with me only for txting and Myspace.  Myspace had been s******g up our home computer so she offered me unlimited txting.  I in turn chose the txting because who knows, in 5 years Myspace could become complete garbage that no1 uses @ all.

  Also, Easton L had it right on.  With txting ppl response as soon as they get the message, within 3 minutes.  With Myspace, they have to be on a computer that is on Myspace and they also have to check their messages, that could take a month!!! Go with the cell.  You won't regret it.
