Myspace... whats the typical age...?

Question

what age did ya'll get a myspace? my little sis (13) is trying to get a myspace but our dad wont let her... i dont have one, i prefer texting, so she cant say "well she got one when she was ___"

so ya i was curious to see the average age and then help my little sis out. :)

The minimum age for myspace is 14.  So once she turns 14, you can help out by letting your dad know these things about myspace...

1) It is a fun way to talk to her friends, share photos, etc.

2) It allows her to express her creativity and personality on her profile page

3) It's also very safe because you can set the profile to private so that nobody sees it except for the people she approves as her friends

My sister was 11. My mom let her get one but then realized how dangerous it was so she made her delete it. Then my sis got a new one and still has it. I'm not a snitch so I won't tell. I know that you have to be at least 14. But everyone who is younger fakes their age.

i got my myspace page when i was 13 and im 16 right now but under myspace terms and policy it says you have to be 14 or over

i was 13, but you don't ask your parents if you can have a MySpace, that's just stupid, course they're going say no, im 14 now and even though that's the age you're allowed to have it, my parents still dont know.

so she shouldn't have asked fer one if she's underage ..<33

im 29 and have a son that is 11. yes do the math. im a lil harlett. anyway. we both have a myspace. i have one to keep in touch with friends and family. Its great for photos and things. i let him have one so he can talk with his friends and posts picks he took this summer. Keep in mind i have his password and login too make sure its PG stuff. can u say parental control.

it all depends on the trust you have with your child or in your case lil sis

i was 12 (7th grade) but i faked my age, everyone has myspace, even kids who are in 5th grade (no joke.) your sister could always set her profile on private, pick the people she accepts on her list, and even use a setting where people have to type her email or last name in order to send a friend request, and adding pictures of herself is only optional.
