Mystery Shopping Question?

I want to make extra income for my family and I was thinking about Mystery Shopping.... however, alot of these sites ask for your Social Security number..... Are these legit sites? I dont like giving out SS numbers.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

first if they ask you to pay, it's not legit, if you are going to paid they'll need a ss# , but do not give out online or until you have legitimate paper work backing up your employment and are 100% they are legitimate/
