Question:

Mystery substance in fish tank?

I have a tank with 5 platies (mixed varieties) and 6 Zabra Danios. Today when I looked in the tank, on some of the broader flatter leaves of the plants in my tank, there is a reddish brownish substance. This was not there last night! A couple of the leaves look positively furry. Any ideas what this is?

  1. It might be zebra danio eggs. Because platys give birth. if not, probably just some fish waste.

  2. It could be fish eggs. Make sure the other fish dont eat them just incase they are. I would need to see it to know what it is. :) x

  3. fish dookie
