Mythical creatures?

idk if anything like this even "exists" but im looking for the names of 2 different mythical creatures...

1. a creature that is beautiful but cruel

2. a creture that is ugly and appeares as if it would be mean, but really amazing, and maybe it can do things that at first glance seem cruel, but when you think about it has good intentions

Unicorns: some say that these beautiful creatures are actually quite dangerous and they give no mercy when provoked
