plz help us..I really want him to stay here and he deserves it...

  1. No go home wqe dont want any more. go home greengo.  occupado. no trabajo here comprende? que paso

  2. soda is right, sounds like he is just on a student visa. he would first have to have his green card for a period of time before he is eligible to file the N-400. the "Other" box is for green card holders that may want to apply under the eligibility of taking the test in their own language, which would require them to be a green card holder for more than 20 years and over age 50 or more than 15 years and over age 55 and those that are over age 65 to be administered a simpler test. being white with no accent does not make him eligible.

  3. Is he in the US on a student visa, or does he have permanent residence (a.k.a. a green card)?

If he's just here on a student visa, he may not apply for US citizenship at all, but if he's been a permanent resident for those 5 years you mentioned, then he may be able apply for citizenship.

You should read http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/M-476... for more info on naturalization. Form N-400 isn't as detailed.

Based on what you're saying it sounds like he needs to find out if he is eligible to apply for a green card. Most likely, and again by the sound of it, he is not eligible unless he can be sponsored by family or an employer, but you can look into that.
