N00bish question: I've bought something from eBay and I have not received the item, now what? what can I do

You need to send an email to the seller and ask if they have sent the item, how it was mailed and how many days it should take to arrive.  Let them know you have not received it. If there is still a problem then email ebay and paypal(if you used paypal) and let them know the situation.  Also you can leave a bad review for the seller so other potential customers will know about the problem.  I had to post a bad review a couple of months ago and when I did, the seller notified me immediately and took care of the problem.  Good luck.

if it doesnt arrive within 30 days and no contact or something you can proberly sue the person

I am guessing you are under 18?

You should contact the seller first to see whats going on, if he/she doesnt reply then you should mark the item as not received and you will get compensated. Are you ordering it from overseas? coz that can take up to a month to arrive.
