N00by question about ebay?

Question

If someone offered something in ebay as a bid (no buy it now price) does he/she HAVE TO seel it when the bid time is over?

I don't think so.  It's just an option you can give ppl if your trying to sell something on their faster rather than letting ppl bid for it.  If you don't sell the item though you still gotta pay ebay for listing whatever you put on their site though.

If you offer an item for sell you get to set the minimum bid you want and you must sell it at the highest bid price that is offerred when bidding is over.

If some bid on it yes, if no one bid on it who would they be selling it to?
