N3904 transistor?

Question

I just bought a N3904 transistor and my parents threw away the packaging away... So now I don't know which lead is the emitter, which is the base, and which is the collector...

Here's the spec sheet from the original manufacturer.

Pin 1 is the collector.

Pin 2 is the base.

Pin 3 is the emitter.

If the transistor is oriented so that the pins are sticking upward, and the flat side of the package is to your left, the the first, or top, pin will be Pin 1.  Also Pin 1 has a stop tab on only one side of the pin, not both sides as the emitter.
