N82 camera problem....?

the camera get still whn i try to take a photo ....but whn i use self timer i works ....whn i press the capture button a red light just appears and goes....video also not working....pls help....

Try to hard reset your phone. Make sure you back up all your files, music, calendar, photos, etc to computer because hard reset will delete all data stored in phone memory.

Here are step by step instruction

Reset to factory defaults (*#7780#) : Restores settings but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)

Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

Hard reset:

1. Switch off the phone.

2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.

3. While holding these buttons, hold the power button for a second to switch on the phone.

4. Release when the phone shows the nokia hands logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen.

If the problem still persist, take your N82 to the nearest nokia care center.
