http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/NAC-Breda-c39983 recorded their first win of the 2011/12 campaign when they defeated NAC Breda 2-1 at McDOS Goffertstadion on Friday, September 16. NAC manager John Karelse was extremely delighted with his side’s performance on the pitch following the win over

The match between NAC and NEC started aggressively and the hosts took barely two minutes in taking the lead through http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bram-Nuytinck-c7973. However, two goals in quick succession from Alex Schalk and Omer Bayram in the second-half turned the game in favour of the
visitors, who recorded their first win of the season.
The NAC manager was unable to hide his joy following the victory as his side chased the ball for much of the game.
“There it is finally. I’m very happy. In the first fifteen minutes of the match, we had some difficult moments, but we dealt with them and eventually we emerged victorious by the end of the match”, Karelse was quoted as saying to the media.
After coming back into the match, thanks to the goals from Schalk and Bayram, NEC tried hard to hit the target in the remaining time. However, they failed to succeed and lost the three points by the end of 90 minutes.
“The last ten minutes or so were hard for us. Fortunately, we have a fantastic goalkeeper, who made some exceptional saves. If you start fighting to make a comeback from the first minute, then this win deserves a big compliment. We must continue to put performances
like this. We were ripped apart set pieces and we must look to overcome on this in the upcoming matches”, Karelse concluded.
The Yellow Army’s first win moves them up to 16th spot on the league table, though, still in the relegation zone. They are level on points with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/ADO-Den-Haag-c38221, who have a game in hand.
NAC will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Utrecht-c39237 in their upcoming encounter at Rat Verlegh Stadion on Saturday, September 24.
