After a tough 2011/12 campaign that saw the Yellow Army finish 13th on the Eredivisie table, the 42-year-old tactician has admitted that his troops’ will have to work extremely hard next season as well to avoid
relegation.

However, Karelse has made it clear that his side does not intend to lure any new player to Rat Verlegh Stadion this summer, as the club does not have sufficient funds at their disposal.
“We do not have a penny! Zero. Absolutely nothing. The club is still troubled financially. It would be great for us if someone from outside take charge of the club just like Merab Jordania (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitesse-c40905 owner”, the Dutch trainer was
quoted as saying to the club’s official website.
The former Newcastle United player went on to heap praise on his side’s performances in the recently concluded season, and revealed that it would be a tremendous achievement if the club manages to avoid relegation next term as
well.
“We did a great http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 this season. But if we can manage to avoid relegation at the end of the next season, it would be a big achievement for the club”, Karelse concluded.
