Can anyone tell how nanotechnology used in mechanical........?

Alot of tribology (surface contact) research into nanotech.

Also nanotech in electronic fabriaction techniques (semiconductor waffer manufacture)

And alot of research into drug delivery systems.

From what I understand, nanotechnology is the source for new materials.  It doesn't change anything that you know about mechanical engineering, it only broadens the materials you can use for specific cases.
