NARUTO QUESTION ABOUT GAARA?!?!?!?!?!?

in shippuden, and chapter 278, gaara's jinchuuriki (shukaku) is taken by akatsuki. so does this mean gaara can't do anything with sand anymore?

i thought when the old lady revived him, he kept shikaku, but in the manga now akatsuki said they only need the 9 tails and the 8 tails. when they said two left i thought they were reffering to gaara and naruto, but it was that lame bull guy -_-'.

well anyway, if anyone can tell me what the h**l's happened to him then please do. because without shikaku, gaara's just a regular shinobi

  1. he was born to control the sand its just that hes not as strong as he use to be since he lost shukaku.

  2. Ok I don't think anyone can tell you much because Gaara hasn't been in the series since then. You may want to check this site it is a good site.

I do think he lost it because he hasn't been in the series and the Akatsuki did say it was complete.

EDIT- He is called the Kazekage. (Sand Village leader)

  3. well at the end when gaara and naruto shook hands a bit of sand circled the handshake, so theres still a possiblity that he still holds some control over sand.

  4. Yeah. Just like what others said. Gaara has lost his jinchuriki totally. so, he can sleep and no more monsters will try to take over him. But after losing the monster, Gaara can still manipulate sand though like other normal sand users. Only no more specialty of the monster. But since Gaara ends up being the hokage of sand village, I guess, he is still strong indeed

  5. Gaara is a chump

  6. He can still use his sand powers, why couldn't he? He lost Shikaku, and I'm sure he's lost -some- of his powers.. but he's still a formidable opponent and still strong. In the manga, he ends up being hokage of the Sand Country.
