which track would you purchase, and why? Who would you appoint as track president? Would you try to get more races at your track? Would you change anything about the track? Rename it? Put the naming rights up for sale?

  1. track to purchase: the auto club speedway

track president: me - i definitely couldn't do any worse than gillian whats-her-name

number of races: one, give the other to vegas

changes: tear it down and build something i'd be willing to sit in the heat and watch

naming rights: i could live with the auto club speedway of southern california

  2. Yes as all of you know I'm a huge Darlington track lover, I think Darlington will survive on its on...  I'd buy the Rock and to get a race back at this great track, even 99% of the drivers want this track back, as we all know theres not much left of the good ole great Nascar tradition them $$$$$$$$$$$$$ dawgs fight it tooth and nail. I'd say dump Calif ( and I'm dumb enough to live here) lets get Nascar back to the real tradition, s***w trying to win over Hollyweird, when you have the best Nascar fans in the work in the Good great South.. Oh I forgot I need to go check my lotto ticket, the Rock might have a new owner.. I'd do the track proud.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  3. Bristol

Just so I can sit anywhere i want and dont have to use those bathrooms.  And I would want 30 races there each season.

Also Id like to own California so i can hire a demolition team to demolish that c**p joint and build a track that produces great racing.

  4. I'd buy dover because it's only one hour from my home and i could go play on the track whenever i wanted to.

GOD bless our friends in the gulf of mexico

  5. I would buy New Hampshire.  I would not change anything and make sure that it kept its two races.  I think it also caters to a lot of fans from the north east and Canada and should keep its two races and not be messed with.

  6. I'd buy Bristol, just so I could make it what it once was.

    My track president? idk..any offers?

More races? No, there's already two.

Changes? Yes, that's the reason I'm buying it in the first place.

    Rename it? No.

    Naming rights? No.

  7. Bristol

    Appoint as Pres:  Me

Change about the track:  Use the old cars

    Rename it:  no

  8. I would choose Daytona because with the history at that track, it could run itself. It is the pinnacle of our sport and no other track can hail in comparison.

  9. The Auto Club Speedway.  Get rid of what is there now, and build a track UNIQUE from any other in the season.  No more cookie-cutters.

Track president?  Someone who has a clue about putting fans first, instead of money in their own wallet.

More races...nope.  Send the second one that's there back to where it belongs...Darlington.

Rename it...yes.  Back to something with 'California' in it.

Naming rights...NO WAY!!!  It stays names 'California something-or-other and that's it.  I can't stand this name rights garbage.  There was a time when you knew what team played where just by the name of the stadium...Three Rivers Stadium,  Riverfront Stadium, Chemisky Park.  Now-a-days it's all about money.  I mean, come on, a ballpark named after a pet supply company (PETCO Park, San Diego Padres).  Everybody knows Bristol, Darlington, Daytona, 'Dega, etc.  Maybe, just maybe, I'd call it 'The NEW Riverside'.

  10. Bristol baby. The name says it all.

President: How about me? Maybe Humpry Wheeler

Not more races, but I would try to change both dates. The spring race needs to be, say late April or early May & the Aug race would be a chase race :)

Change it: Maybe, I'm not sure.

    Rename it: Never........

    Naming rights: Notta gonna happen

  11. I would buy North Wilkesboro but I don't know who I'd hire as the track president. I would try to get Cup races back at the track, but I would settle for Nationwide, Truck, or ARCA racing there. I would add more seats and make a grandstand that would allow even the person on the front row a view of the whole track. I wouldn't let any company have naming rights to the track although I'd allow them to sponsor the races there in some form.

  12. Id purchase Homestead-Miami speedway because it is the nearest to where i live and it is almost in the fl keys by 30 miles.

    id be track president

No I would not try to get more races, nascar ones, they do a lot of bike races at homestead already so I may try to get more of those.  Also Homestead has many days where it is open to people to bring their vehicles for classes and some days bikes people can bring to test.  I might turn it in to a racing school and a track where it focuses on people bringing their own cars to run them and or take a class or just have fun.

I might rename it but I wouldn't put the right up for sale at all and id need more time to come up with a creative name for it.

  13. I'd purchase Richmond because it's the closest track to home. And the home track of my favorite driver. I wouldn't change anything though - they have a pretty good system.
